Osun Workers Reject 50 Per Cent Salary Cut

Osun State workers under the aegis of Nigeria Labour Congress(NLC) have registered their displeasure over the purported 50 percent cut of January salary by the state government.


Addressing the newsmen in Osogbo, the state chairman of the union Comrade Adekomi Jacobs said the resolve of the state government to cut the salary of the work force in the state by 50 per cent from January 2015 was unacceptable, satanic and a means to frustrate the work force in the state.


Adekomi also described the government plan as wicked, maintaining that it was suicide for any government to arrive at such position after he had failed in his constitutional responsibilities for the past eight months.


The labour leader insisted that never would the entire workforce in the state accept it.
