How to stop masturbation

I know most people will want to shy away from the fact that they are masturbating and want to stop it, but it seems impossible.

First of all, nothing is impossible. If you can think it, you can achieve it.

I will like to list the ways or methods in which you can use to stop masturbation.

1. Conclude in your heart that you are ready to stop the habit of masturbation.

2. Avoid loneliness or negative thoughts.
Whenever you are feeling lonely, keep yourself busy. For example, you can take a walk, or read books that are inspirational.
Try to be social and interact with people.

3. Always do exercise morning and night before going to bed.
Because, if you feel weak after doing an exercise, you won't be having the huge to masturbate.

4. Avoid depression.
Depression could also make someone masturbate. Just sleep whenever you are feeling depressed.

5. Pornographic pictures, videos and similar things should be avoided.
Put interest in funny pictures, and watch educating videos instead. Also, whenever you are watching a movie, always fast forward any pornographic scene. That will make you have some self control.

6. Use your energy for something else.
Use your energy to do something creative or learn an handiwork that will keep you busy.

7. Be patient and try as much as possible not to change your mind to stop it.

8. Know that you will get over it some day.

9. Do not think about sex.
Play music that will make you dance till you get tired whenever you feel like masturbating.

10. If after trying those steps above and there's no improvement, then I think the next thing is to do is to seek for help from a counselor or your spiritual guardian or even your parents.
