Vigilance group, youths raid cultists’ hide-out in Benue

There was uneasy calm yesterday at the Modern Market Ward in Makurdi, the Benue State capital, when vigilance groups assisted by youths forcefully ejected suspected cultists from the community.


Lately, cultism had been on the rise in Makurdi metropolis with several persons reported killed by groups, a development which had become worrisome to residents especially those living around Iniongul, Agbouhol, Demekpe, Wadata and North Bank areas of the state capital.
